Egg Timer Test

"The Egg Timer Test estimates ovarian reserve - the number of quality eggs left within the ovaries"

This a very good test to do even if you are not planning a baby to make sure that your ovarian reserve is okay.

It is a combination of 3 tests which should be then interpreted by your fertility doctor to assess whether your reserve is good or not.

It involves the following:

  • Day 2 or 3 FSH/LH/Estradiol
  • AMH (anti-mullerian hormone)
  • Ultrasound before day 7 of your cycle (day 1 = first day of menses) to assess antral follicle count) - less than 4 follicles in each ovary indicates low ovarian reserve.
